Joshua Weissburg Advisor

Josh brings experience in social investment and entrepreneurship. Most recently, he served as Deputy Director of the Aspen Philanthropy Group at the Aspen Institute, where he worked to identify models and measures of social change among leading philanthropists and public sector actors such as the White House Office of Social Innovation. Josh has helped a diverse set of organizations, including CARE, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Americans for Informed Democracy to plan and evaluate their work. He served as a charter member of The Aspen Institute’s Venture Fund, where he assessed funding proposals. Josh’s writing on how social entrepreneurs are changing the business climate in emerging markets has appeared in the Stanford Social Innovation Review, The American and the NextBillion and Case Foundation blogs. He is currently on sabbatical, pursuing an MBA at the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School.
